TRUE BLUE – 52 WEEKS OF COMMUNITY CARING OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES 1. NO PURCHASE OR ACCOUNT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE OR ACCOUNT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. 2. Eligibility. The True Blue Contest (the “Contest”) is open to U.S. residents (excluding Puerto Rico, New York and Florida), 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Iowa State Bank & Trust Company and the Iowa City Press-Citizen, Gannett Co., Inc., and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, and other agents, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with such employees, are not eligible. 3. Entry. The Contest will begin at 12:01 a.m. (C.S.T.) on March 10, 2005 and all entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (C.S.T.) on December 28, 2005 (the “Contest Period”). 42 Weekly Prize random drawings will be held during the Contest Period – One (1) winner of a $100 Charitable Donation (made in their name) to an Iowa City/Coralville area Non-Profit organization (501C-3 designation) will be selected by random drawing from all eligible completed Official Entry Forms each Friday during the Contest Period. Weekly drawing entries must be received by 5:30 p.m. each Wednesday to be included in the Friday drawings. Only completed entry forms will be considered eligible, but entrants may indicate their wish to remain anonymous by checking the appropriate box on entry forms. If this box is checked, the entrant’s name will not be published in any media or divulged to their selected Non-Profit organization. Mail Entry. To enter, complete an Official True Blue Entry Form available at the Iowa City Press-Citizen offices or any Iowa State Bank and Trust Company location during the Contest Period. Mail the completed official entry form to the Iowa State Bank & Trust Company, True Blue, 102 S. Clinton St., Iowa City, IA 52240. Weekly entries must be received by 5:30 p.m. each Wednesday to be included in the Friday drawing. You can also enter by printing you name, address, phone number, e-mail address, non-profit agency name, and reason for selecting this aforementioned agency on a 3 x 5 card or piece of paper, and mailing it to the address above or dropping it in an entry box at the locations listed. Entry forms are also available at no charge by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: True Blue, c/o Iowa State Bank & Trust Company, P.O. Box 1700, Iowa City, IA 52244. No mechanical reproductions permitted. Only one entry/request for entry form per envelope. Online Entry. Entries may be made online by filling out, and submitting, the official True Blue entry form available at www.press-citizen.com or www.isbt.com. Online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (C.S.T.) each Wednesday during the Contest Period to be included in the Friday drawings. In-Person Entry: Enter in person by completing an Official Entry Form available at all Iowa State Bank & Trust Company locations: 102 S. Clinton St., Iowa City; 325 S. Clinton St., Iowa City (Home Loan Center), Keokuk & HWY 6 Bypass, Iowa City; Rochester and 1st Ave, Iowa City; 110 1st Ave., Coralville; 465 Hwy 965 S, North Liberty, 305 W. Rainbow Drive, West Liberty, Sycamore Mall, Old Capitol Mall, Coral Ridge Mall or at the Press-Citizen offices, 1725 N. Dodge St., Iowa City and depositing your entry form in the official entry box. You may enter the Contest as often as you like but only one (1) $100 donation will be awarded per week and individual entrants will be allowed to win only two (2) times during the Contest Period. Multiple entries by means of software generated or other automated processes will be disregarded. The Iowa City Press-Citizen, Iowa State Bank & Trust Company (collectively referred to as “Sponsor”) will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, post-due, misdirected or illegible entries. 4. Prizes and Odds. One (1) weekly winner of a $100 Charitable Donation (made in their name) to an Iowa City/Coralville area Non-Profit organization (501C-3 designation) will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries to be held every Friday during the Contest Period of January 30, 2004 through February 2, 2005. To be eligible entry, the entry form must be completed in its entirety. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. 5. Winner Notification and Acceptance. Weekly winners will be notified on Friday by phone and/or e-mail and names will be published in the Iowa City Press-Citizen Mondays from March 21, 2005 through January 2, 2006. The Non-Profit organization whose name was published as the weekly recipient will receive a $100 check within 30 days of the drawing. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed. Except where prohibited, and unless entrant his indicated their wish to remain anonymous by checking the appropriate box on the entry form, participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. For prize winners list (available after December 28, 2005, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Iowa State Bank & Trust Company, True Blue,P.O. Box 1700, Iowa City, IA 52244. 6. Participation. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Contest as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Contest is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date. 7. Limitations of Liability. By entering the Contest, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action, and entrant waives his or her right to a jury trial for such disputes, claims, and causes of action; (2) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses. 8. Construction. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any contestant and Sponsor, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of Iowa, or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Iowa. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the valid or enforceable provision was not contained therein. 9. General Release. By entering the Contest, contestants release the Iowa City Press-Citizen, Gannett Co., Inc., Iowa State Bank & Trust Company, any other promotional sponsors, and each of their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light). 10. Sponsor. The True Blue Contest is sponsored by the Iowa City Press-Citizen and Iowa State Bank & Trust Company, whose decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest.
